# Typed

A radical return to text as pure artistic medium. Typed.art allows any string of characters (poetry, concrete verse, ASCII compositions, conceptual statements) to be minted as an NFT. In doing so it reconnects contemporary practice with the long history of typewriter art, concrete poetry, and the written word as visual object, proving that the simplest digital material can still yield profound and varied artistic results.
