# EditArt

EditArt was an interactive generative art platform on Tezos where collectors actively co-created works by adjusting five carefully chosen parameters via simple sliders before minting. Each resulting unique output recorded both the artist’s system and the collector’s aesthetic decisions on-chain, with shared royalties acknowledging dual authorship. Under the guidance of its founder Piero (@pifragile), it was rapidly emerging as one of the leading generative art platforms on the chain and an active participant in community events, culminating in a strong presence during Genuary 2026 that drew significant interest and contributions from artists across Tezos. Sadly Piero died far too young, and EditArt closed with him. The works, and the model of shared authorship he built, remain part of the history of participatory on-chain art forever.
